On Friday (12/4) representatives from Team Tusick and Work Hard PGH met with George Norkus of Amsler Pharmacy as part of Pittsburgh Tall’s Services to the Street program. This meeting took place to identify the services necessary to help Amsler Pharmacy market their discounted prescriptions and retail products while simultaneously scaling their revenue.
Located in Allentown, Amsler Pharmacy has been providing affordable prescription drugs, over the counter medicine, and essential retail items since 1895. Amsler Pharmacy also delivers prescription medications throughout Pittsburgh area. Throughout the store, photographs of the early days of Amsler Pharmacy harken back to a time of medicinal soda fountains, tin roofs and wooden clad interior.
“It’s important to us to emphasize the history of this store in our branding and marketing strategy.” said Josh Lucas, Founder of Work Hard PGH.
The team identified several service needs including branding, product advertising, web design and general improvements to the storefront. During the next several weeks, the team will work with George to develop the branding and image of the store to reflect the both the products and history of the pharmacy.
“I know Pittsburgh Tall knows how to implement and work with technology. I am looking forward to working with them in the coming days.” said George.
